FLUXUS inspired intervention asking 2017 teacher candidates to create concrete poetry using pre-printed words and phrases related the practice and theory of teaching, conducted in the Melbourne University Graduate School of Education (MGSE). A way of asking students to think about their relation to the space they inhabit, and their expectations of the role they're being asked to assume (in this case, a Teacher)
To teach this would focus on performance and intervention as Art Act. Other Artists and Movements to draw in around FLUXUS could be the Guerilla Girls, Duchamp/DADA and Maria Abramovic,
scaffolding the students through the idea of Action or Interaction being a valid and powerful means of making Art, and how to think as an Artist in all aspects of their being.
